The Hook

A calico house Tressym has drunk its wizard's Potion of Giant Size. Now it has escaped and is killing everything in its territory. The potion and its effects have never been tested on cats until now. This should be a fun experiment to find out how long will the effects last on such a creature.

Inspiration to Draw on

Through D&D lore, we know that Tressyms are beautiful beast “abominations“ created be meddling wizards. Though the testing on the animals was cruel, we now have a majestic and mischievous house cat that can now fly. Now I have personally been told that escaped house cats tend to be similar to a scaled down ecological devastation because they tend to hunt anything in sight. Whether that is fact of fiction is irrelevant. This thought gives a great platform to jump off of. Ask yourself, “If house cats do hunt everything insight, what would a house Tressym hunt?“ The monster block suggests that it might hunt evil things. But what if this is an evil wizards cat? Also what would a Tressym once it went from its normal tiny size to the huge size category?
